Instruction Guide

Here are brief instruction suggestions for connecting and installing the solar panel kit:

Mount the solar panel:

  • Ensure you have enough room on your chosen surface and it is sturdy enough to hold the panels
  • Secure the Victron Energy 305W Solar Panel to the brackets
  • Attach brackets to the roof using CT1 Sealant & Adhesive

Install the charge controller:

  • Mount the Victron MPPT 100/30 SmartSolar Charge Controller in a protected location

Input the cables through the roof:

  • Use the 5M Solar Extension cables with MC4 connectors
  • Make sure to label the positive and negative cables before putting them through the gland
  • Route cables through the Cable Gland in the brackets

Install the fuse:

  • Mount the Victron Energy Fuse holder
  • Insert the 40A Midi Fuse

Wire the system:

  • Use 6mm2 black cable for negative connections
  • Use 6mm2 red cable for positive connections
  • Ground the MPPT Charge controller (consult manual for instructions)
  • Attach Y23 pin connectors and Y6/Y7 terminals as needed

Connect components:

  • Connect the MPPT charge controller to your battery (not included in kit) BEFORE connecting it to your panel
  • Wire solar panel to charge controller

Double-check all connections and ensure proper polarity

Activate the system and test functionality
