Charging Specifications

  • Absorption Voltage (Normal): 14.2 V – 14.6 V
  • Absorption Voltage (Fastest Recharge): 14.6 V – 14.9 V
  • Float Voltage: 13.5 V – 13.8 V
  • Storage Voltage: 13.2 V – 13.5 V
  • Recommended Charge Current: Should preferably not exceed 0.2 C (22 A for this 110 Ah model) to prevent temperature increases of more than 10°C.
  • Temperature Compensation: -24 mV/°C (required if temperature is expected to be below 10°C or above 30°C for long periods).

Design Life & Performance

  • Float Design Life: 7 – 10 years at 20°C
  • Cycle Design Life (80% Discharge): 400 cycles
  • Cycle Design Life (50% Discharge): 600 cycles
  • Cycle Design Life (30% Discharge): 1500 cycles
  • Low Temperature Performance: Capacity reduces at low temperatures (e.g., approximately 65% capacity available at 1 hour discharge rate).
  • Self-Discharge: Very low; can be stored for long periods without requiring frequent recharging.

Mechanical Specifications

  • Dimensions (L x W x H): 330 x 171 x 220 mm
  • Weight: 32 kg

Key Features

  • VRLA Technology: Valve Regulated Lead Acid (VRLA) design means the battery is maintenance-free and spill-proof, as gas is recombined internally during charging.
  • Engine Starting Capability: Excellent high-current performance makes this AGM battery suitable for dual-purpose use, including starting applications.
  • Battery Safe Mode: Compatible with Victron adaptive charging to prevent damage from excessive gassing during the bulk stage.
  • Storage Mode: Specifically designed to reduce the rate of positive plate corrosion when the battery is not in use.
