Victron Battery Balancer - BBA000100100
The Victron Battery Balancer is designed to equalise the state of charge of two series-connected 12 V batteries (for a 24 V system) or multiple parallel strings of such pairs.
When the system’s charge voltage rises above 27.3 V, the balancer activates and compares voltages of the two battery halves. It draws up to 0.7 A from the higher voltage leg to force convergence of charge levels.
The unit includes an LED indicator system (green = balancer active, orange = leg balancing, red = alarm) and a relay that triggers when deviation exceeds 0.2 V.
For higher voltage systems (e.g. 48 V), multiple balancers can be used in parallel to manage multiple battery pairs.
