Key Features:

  • PowerControl and PowerAssist Implementation: Facilitates dynamic power management by monitoring current flow.
  • Easy Installation: Designed for straightforward integration with MultiPlus-II and MultiGrid-II systems.
  • Accurate Current Sensing: Ensures precise monitoring of current for optimal system performance.

Options available for cable length: 1m, 5 metres and 20 metres

Product Specifications

Performance & Electrical Specifications

  • Current Rating: 100 A
  • Secondary Signal: 50 mA
  • Secondary Voltage: 50 mV
  • Measurement Scope: Single-phase current monitoring (measures current only, not voltage).
  • Accuracy: Calibrated for use with specific wire lengths; more accurate at higher currents than at very low loads.

Installation & Configuration

  • Mounting Type: Clip-on (split-core) design allows for installation around existing live conductors without disconnecting or rewiring the main supply.
  • Topology Support: Ideal for grid-parallel systems with MPPT solar charge controllers or installations where a full energy meter is not required.
  • Termination: Wire-end termination (two-wire terminal connection) for compatibility with modern MultiPlus-II and MultiPlus 20k units.
  • Polarity & Direction: Polarity sensitive; the red wire connects to the EXT terminal and the white wire to the COM terminal. The arrow on the transformer housing must point toward the MultiPlus unit.
  • Cable Calibration: The wires must not be extended or shortened, as they are factory-calibrated for precision with the transformer.

Mechanical Specifications

  • Enclosure Dimensions: 32 mm x 57 mm x 22 mm
  • Window (Opening) Size: 13 mm x 13 mm
  • Design: Space-saving split-core housing for retrofit and constrained installations.

Compatibility

  • Standard Systems: MultiPlus-II and MultiPlus 20k.
  • Multi-Phase Systems: Can be used in three-phase multi-unit systems where an external transfer switch is used; one current transformer is required per phase and must be connected to the master unit of that phase.
