The MultiPlus, as the name suggests, is a combined inverter and charger in one elegant package. Its many features include a true sine wave inverter, adaptive charging, hybrid PowerAssist technology, plus multiple system integration features.

The 5000VA Victron Energy MultiPlus combines a robust true sine wave inverter and an advanced battery charger into a single unit. With the ability to convert 48V DC power from your leisure batteries to 230V AC power, it empowers you to run up to 5000VA of domestic appliances when off-grid or connected to a shore power hookup. The model also supports a charging current of up to 70A for swift and efficient battery charging.

  • Automatic Power Source Switching: When connected to a shore power hookup, the MultiPlus switches seamlessly between powering mains appliances directly from the hookup and recharging leisure batteries. In the absence of a hookup, it automatically powers mains appliances from the batteries, eliminating the need for manual switching.
  • VE.Bus Smart Dongle Compatibility: While lacking built-in Bluetooth or smart connectivity, the MultiPlus can be paired with the VE.Bus smart dongle for remote monitoring and configuration. Utilize the VictronConnect app to set programmable alarms, monitor performance, and adjust settings conveniently.
  • Ideal for Off-Grid Applications: Suitable for various off-grid applications in campervans, motorhomes, RVs, and boats. The MultiPlus facilitates charging via shore power, ensuring a versatile and reliable power solution.
  • Pure Sine Wave Inverter: Incorporates a pure sine wave inverter, replicating the 230V AC waveform from household mains sockets. Ensures compatibility with a wide range of 230V appliances, preventing potential damage or operational issues.
  • Uninterrupted AC Power (UPS Function): Features an ultra-fast transition (less than 20 milliseconds) to the inverter during grid failure or when shore or generator power is disconnected. Ensures uninterrupted power supply to connected loads, such as computers and electronic equipment.
  • Remote Monitoring and Control: Enables local (LAN) or remote monitoring and control via the internet using the VRM app and VRM portal website.
