The foundation of this kit is the Antai aluminium ground mounting system. Unlike traditional setups that require heavy concrete bases, this system utilizes a ground screw foundation. Ground screws are a major advantage because they can be installed quickly into uniform terrain without the need for excavation or waiting for concrete to cure. This keeps your project on schedule and significantly reduces on site labour costs. Because the screws are recyclable and cause minimal soil disruption, they are a sustainable choice for environmentally conscious homeowners. The framework itself is manufactured from high grade anodised aluminium and stainless steel, ensuring it remains rust free and structurally sound in wind speeds up to 60 metres per second.
At the heart of the power management is the Victron EasySolar-II 48/3000 GX. This unit is an intelligent 3-in-1 solution that combines a powerful inverter, a smart MPPT solar charge controller, and a GX monitoring device into a single, pre-wired enclosure. This integrated design simplifies the installation process and provides a space saving, tidy solution for smaller properties. With the GX device built in, you gain instant access to the Victron Remote Management portal, allowing you to track your solar harvest and battery health from your smartphone or computer anywhere in the world.
For energy generation, the kit features eight JA Solar 450W all black bifacial panels. These modules use double glass technology to harvest light from both the front and rear surfaces. When mounted on the ground, they capture reflected light from the earth, which increases your energy yield compared to standard panels.
Energy storage is handled by the Pytes V5A Plus lithium battery system. The system comes with 5.12kWh of storage, but you have the option of adding extra batteries to increase this. These batteries are designed for the UK climate, featuring integrated heating elements that maintain optimal cell temperatures during freezing winter months.
With added security features like auto-start generator integration, this kit provides a reliable and smart way to secure your energy future.
