The ORI1224211226 is a non-isolated DC-DC converter that provides a massive 1200W of power. In practical terms, its 50A continuous output current makes it capable of running heavy-duty 24V loads that smaller converters simply cannot handle. The IP67 rating is a professional standard that confirms the unit is totally protected against dust and can even be submerged in water for short periods without harm.
Inside the unit, the electronics are entirely moulded in resin within a blue aluminium casing, which not only keeps out moisture but also makes the device ignition protected. This is a vital safety feature for marine engine rooms or any area where fuel vapours might be present. The design is intentionally simple to install, using M6 bolts for the main power connections to ensure a solid, vibration-proof link to your system.
