The Victron Orion‑Tr 48/12‑30A (360 W) Isolated DC‑DC Converter (SKU ORI481240110) is a high-quality power conversion solution tailored for mobile, marine and industrial 48 V systems needing a 12 V supply. With a wide 40-70 V input voltage range and an adjustable 10-15 V output (nominal 12.2 V) it offers excellent flexibility for auxiliary and service battery banks.
Rated at 30 A continuous at 40 °C (≈360 W) and capable of delivering up to 430 W at 25 °C, it supports robust loads while operating reliably in demanding conditions. Galvanic isolation of 200 V dc between input, output and chassis ensures safe operation in systems where grounding and isolation matter. Screw-type terminals allow tool-free installation and the remote on/off terminal eliminates the need for a high-current switch in the input wiring.
Built for real-world installations, the converter offers IP43 protection (when correctly mounted with terminals downwards) and is short-circuit proof, with unlimited parallel capability to scale output current if needed.
In a compact package, approximately 130 × 186 × 70 mm and weighing 1.6 kg, it fits neatly into confined installation spaces onboard boats, in vehicles or within industrial enclosures.
