This system is built around a high-performance 185W Victron monocrystalline solar panel, which is specifically designed to be efficient in variable light conditions. The heart of the kit is the SmartSolar MPPT 75/15 charge controller, which uses intelligent high-speed tracking to maximise energy harvest while protecting your battery from overcharging. Everything is connected using 6mm² specialist thin-wall cabling and protected by a 30A midi fuse system, ensuring your power is transferred safely and with minimal waste.

What is included in the box?

We have put this package together to ensure you have a professional-standard finish with all the necessary components in one place.

The main power components:

  • 1 x Victron 185W Monocrystalline Solar Panel: 12V (1485mm x 668mm x 30mm).
  • 1 x Victron SmartSolar MPPT 75/15 Charge Controller with integrated Bluetooth.

Mounting and sealing:

  • 4 x Aluminium Alloy Solar Panel Brackets for a secure roof or surface mount.
  • 1 x 290ml tube of industrial-grade CT1 sealant and adhesive for a watertight finish.

Cabling and connections:

  • 1 x Pair of 5-metre solar extension cables with MC4 connectors already fitted.
  • 1 metre of red and 1 metre of black 6mm² specialist battery cable.
  • A selection of connection hardware, including 4 x connector pins and various copper tube terminals (6mm and 8mm lugs).

Safety and protection

  • 1 x Midi fuse holder.
  • 1 x 30A Midi fuse to keep your system protected.

To help you with the setup, a clear wiring diagram will be emailed to you as part of your shipment confirmation to guide you through the process.

This kit is fairly easy to install if you have basic DIY skills. We include a diagram and instructions and we are always on hand to help if you need some guidance. There are a few handy videos for installation for you to watch if you need any tips for installation.
