The Victron Energy Smart BatteryProtect 12/24V-100A is an advanced battery protection device designed to safeguard your battery from excessive discharge and ensure reliable operation of your electrical system. It automatically disconnects non-essential loads before the battery is completely discharged, preventing potential damage.

With Bluetooth connectivity, it allows for easy programming and monitoring via the VictronConnect app.

The device is compatible with both 12V and 24V systems, offering versatility for various applications. Its compact dimensions of 61 mm (H) × 41 mm (W) × 164 mm (D) ensure easy installation in confined spaces.

The Smart BatteryProtect is not designed for reverse currents from charging sources.

Smart Features & Configuration

  • Bluetooth Built-in: Programming made easy via the VictronConnect app. Set custom engage/disengage levels or choose from nine predefined levels using the programming pin.
  • Instant Readout: The VictronConnect app can display vital status information (warnings, alarms, and errors) on the Device List page without needing to pair with the product.
  • Li-ion Mode: Features a special setting for control by a VE.Bus BMS. It can also serve as a charge interrupter between a battery charger and a Li-ion battery.
  • Ignition Proof: Employs MOSFET switches instead of traditional relays, ensuring no sparks are produced.
  • Delayed Alarm Output: Activated if battery voltage falls below the preset level for more than 12 seconds. Designed to trigger buzzers, LEDs, or relays (max 50 mA, short-circuit proof).
  • Delayed Load Disconnect: The load is disconnected 90 seconds after reaching the threshold (immediate if triggered by a VE.Bus BMS).
  • Delayed Load Reconnect: Reconnects 30 seconds after battery voltage rises above the preset reconnect threshold.
