The Victron SmartSolar MPPT 250/100-Tr VE.Can (SKU SCC125110412) is a high-capacity solar charge controller built for demanding off-grid, marine and mobile power systems. Its ultra-fast maximum power point tracking improves energy harvest in variable light, allowing you to get more usable power from your solar array throughout the day. This model supports 12, 24 and 48 volt systems, with a manual option for 36 volts, and delivers up to 100 amps of charging current. It can accept a maximum solar open-circuit voltage of 250 volts and handle up to 5800 watts of solar input at 48 volts, making it suitable for large installations.

The device features adaptive multi-stage charging with eight pre-set algorithms and user-defined options to suit a wide range of battery types. Temperature compensation and automatic voltage selection help protect battery health and extend lifespan. Built-in Bluetooth allows you to configure settings and monitor performance using a mobile device, while VE.Can and VE.Direct ports offer advanced integration with other Victron equipment. Multiple units can be synchronised in parallel for increased system capacity.

Efficiency exceeds 99 percent, and the unit operates without a cooling fan, reducing noise and maintenance. Comprehensive protection includes PV short circuit, reverse polarity, reverse current and temperature-based current limiting. The electronics are housed in an enclosure with an IP43 rating, while the connection area is rated IP22. It operates reliably in temperatures from minus 30 to plus 60 degrees Celsius.
