Introducing the SmartSolar MPPT RS 450/100-Tr solar charge controller by Victron – the optimal solution for systems featuring large series-connected PV arrays charging 48V DC battery banks. Tailored for large off-grid and grid-connected battery systems, this controller is available in 5.76kW and 11.52kW models, offering a range of advanced features to enhance performance and safety.
Key Features:
- Ultra Fast MPPT: Efficiently charges 48V battery banks with either 100A or 200A by connecting to a PV array of 80-450 Volt Voc. Ultra-fast Maximum Power Point Tracking ensures optimal power harvest.
- Programmable Charging Parameters: Fully programmable charge settings accommodating various battery chemistries, including lead-acid, lithium, and more.
- VictronConnect Compatibility: Remotely control and configure the charge controller over Bluetooth using the VictronConnect App. Monitor critical information such as battery voltage, current, PV voltage, and historical data.
- Daisy Chain Capability: Equipped with VE.Can bus ports, allowing communication with additional SmartSolar RS & VE.Can MPPT units. Units can be "daisy-chained" for synchronized charge stages and data sharing.
- Remote Monitoring and Control: Utilize the Victron Remote Management Portal (VRM) for comprehensive control of your SmartSolar RS charge controllers. Access real-time data and manage your MPPT anytime, anywhere.
- SmartSolar Display: Front-panel display provides key information such as battery volts, charge current, individual array voltages, unit status, and error codes for quick on-site monitoring.
- I/O Connections: Features programmable relay and options for remote temperature and voltage sensing. Compatible with Victron smallBMS and other BMS types with allow-to-charge signals.
