Accurate grid import and export monitoring for compatible SOFAR solar and battery systems. The SOFAR / CHINT DDSU666 is a single-phase smart energy meter supplied with a 200A/40mA current transformer (CT) under manufacturer part number 900020700013-0. It supports energy measurement and inverter control through an RS485 communications connection. This is NOT the same as the CHINT version. This is a SOFAR specific version.

Adding battery storage to existing solar panels?
The DDSU666 is a separately available metering accessory for installations where the SOFAR PowerAll inverter is configured to use a meter-and-CT arrangement. The ESI inverter family also supports a CT-only configuration, so the separate smart meter is not required for every installation. Confirm the appropriate setup with the installer before ordering.

What's included and compatibility
One DDSU666 single-phase meter and its specified 200A/40mA CT. Inverter, batteries, electrical enclosure, installation and any additional accessories or communication cables are not included. This is not the three-phase DTSU666 model, or the direct-connected 5(80)A DDSU666 version.
Installation note: Professional electrical installation and inverter configuration are required. Check the intended inverter firmware and meter/CT configuration against the SOFAR installation instructions before ordering. A compatible inverter may already have a CT fitted; a separate meter is not necessarily required for every installation.
