VE.Can resistive tank sender adapter
The Victron VE.Can Resistive Tank Sender Adapter is designed to bridge the gap between older analog tank senders and modern VE.Can-based monitoring systems such as the Color Control GX. Many senders in fuel, water, waste, oil and black water systems use simple resistive output (e.g. 0–180 Ω or 240–30 Ω). This adapter accepts such input and converts it into a digital reading on the VE.Can bus.
It supports up to 16 independent tank channels, each of which can be assigned a type (fresh water, fuel, waste, etc.). The configuration is via two small rotary switches, making setup fast and straightforward.
Power for the unit is drawn from the VE.Can network, meaning no additional power connection is usually required as long as your VE.Can bus is already powered by a Skylla-i, MPPT or other device. If the bus is unpowered, Victron provides a VE.Can power cable.
In summary, this adapter enables legacy tank senders to work seamlessly in modern Victron systems, offering accurate level reporting, flexible configuration, and minimal wiring overhead.
