The Victron VE.Bus Smart Dongle is an essential accessory for users seeking to enhance the functionality of their Victron inverter/chargers. Compatible with Multi, MultiPlus, MultiPlus-II, MultiGrid, MultiGrid-II, Quattro, and Phoenix Inverters featuring a VE.Bus port, this dongle enables wireless communication via Bluetooth.
Using the VictronConnect app, users can monitor real-time data, including battery status, voltage, and temperature. The app also allows for remote control, enabling adjustments to settings such as input current limit and operational modes (Off, On, Charger-only). The Instant Readout feature provides at-a-glance diagnostics, displaying key data without requiring a direct connection to the device.
Installation is straightforward, with the dongle connecting to the inverter/charger via an RJ45 UTP cable (sold separately) and wiring to the battery terminals. The device also measures battery voltage and temperature, ensuring optimal charging and system performance.
