With a continuous current rating of 1000 Amps, this unit provides the robust infrastructure needed for high power marine vessels, off-grid homes, and industrial vehicle conversions. It features massive M10 tinned copper busbars to ensure efficient energy flow and secure connections for heavy duty cabling.
At its core is a powerful internal contactor. This heavy duty switch serves a vital safety role, acting as a secondary fail-safe to protect your expensive lithium cells if other controls fail. It can also be used as a remote controlled main switch for the entire system. One of its most valuable technical features is the integrated pre-charge circuit. This protects your inverter/chargers and other electronics by managing the initial surge of current when the system starts up, which significantly extends the life of your components.
Monitoring is made simple and flexible. You can use Bluetooth for local diagnostics on your smartphone or connect it to a GX device like a Cerbo GX via the VE.Can port. This allows for global monitoring through the Victron Remote Management portal. For marine users, battery data can even be shared with NMEA 2000 networks to show power levels on your bridge display. Built into a durable ABS enclosure, this BMS manages up to 20 batteries in a single system and even supports parallel redundancy for users who require ultimate reliability and system uptime.
