The Victron Lynx Smart BMS 1000 NG (M10) is a high current battery management system designed specifically for Victron Lithium NG battery installations. It provides centralised protection, monitoring and control for large 12 V, 24 V and 48 V DC systems, making it a dependable choice for trade installers working on demanding energy projects.

This Next Generation Lynx BMS features a built in 1000 amp continuous contactor, capable of handling short peak currents up to 1200 amps. This allows safe system switching and automatic battery disconnection when required. The M10 busbar connections are designed to integrate directly into the Victron Lynx modular distribution system, creating a clean and scalable DC backbone for professional installations.

The Lynx Smart BMS 1000 NG includes an internal battery monitor that reports state of charge, voltage and current data. Configuration and local monitoring are handled via Bluetooth using the VictronConnect app, allowing installers to commission and diagnose systems quickly on site. For larger systems, the VE.Can interface enables communication with Victron GX devices, supporting full system visibility and remote monitoring when used within a Victron ecosystem.

System safety is enhanced through programmable relays and a pre alarm output that provides early warning before critical battery conditions occur. The unit also supports fuse monitoring for up to four Lynx Distributor modules, helping installers identify faults faster and reduce downtime in commercial or off grid applications.

Housed in a durable ABS enclosure with IP22 protection, the Lynx Smart BMS is built for long term use in controlled environments. Its operating temperature range from minus 40 degrees Celsius to plus 60 degrees Celsius ensures reliable performance across a wide range of installations. With a compact footprint, it fits neatly into professional DC distribution layouts where space and serviceability matter.
