The Victron MultiPlus II 24/5000/120 50 230V is a heavyweight inverter charger that combines robust power conversion, intelligent battery charging and backup power for demanding off grid, marine, mobile or backup applications. Designed with a 24 V DC input and delivering 230 V AC output, this unit provides up to 5000 VA (4000 W) continuous output power with a 9000 W peak surge, giving you ample capacity to run multiple heavy AC appliances, power tools, kitchen appliances or IT systems.
Built for reliability, the MultiPlus II comes in a robust steel enclosure (colour blue RAL 5012) with an IP22 protection rating. It measures 607 × 330 × 149 mm (height × width × depth) and weighs 30 kg, offering a compact but solid footprint for the level of power it delivers.
This unit is more than an inverter. It features a smart 4 stage adaptive charger capable of delivering up to 120 A to your house battery, with charge voltages tuned for absorption, float and storage modes. The charger is temperature compensated to help prolong battery life and includes a battery temperature sensor.
For resilience and peace of mind, the MultiPlus II includes a 50 A AC transfer switch that automatically switches to battery power in under 20 milliseconds during an outage. This provides UPS grade protection for sensitive electronics.
Intelligent features such as PowerControl and PowerAssist stop overloads by limiting AC input current or supplementing with battery power when peak demand occurs. Dual AC outputs, one for essential loads and a second for non critical devices, support smart load management.
The MultiPlus II also supports parallel and three phase configurations, with the ability to combine up to six units for larger installations or commercial use. It integrates smoothly with off grid solar or ESS (Energy Storage System) setups.
