The system is built around the Victron EasySolar-II 48/5000. This unit is a highly efficient 3-in-1 solution that integrates a powerful inverter, a smart MPPT solar charge controller, and a GX monitoring device into a single pre-wired enclosure. This integrated design significantly reduces the complexity of the installation process and provides a tidy, professional finish for your utility space. Because the components are pre-configured to work together, you benefit from a more reliable and stable power supply.
To generate power, the kit includes eight high-efficiency 450W all black solar panels. These modules utilise advanced bifacial technology, which means they harvest sunlight from both the front and the back of the panel. This feature is particularly useful for maximizing energy production in the variable light conditions common in the UK. The sleek all black finish ensures the array looks modern and discreet on your property.
Supporting these panels is the Antai aluminium ground mounting system. This rugged framework is manufactured from high-grade aluminium, making it naturally resistant to rust and corrosion. Unlike rooftop installations, this ground-mounted setup allows you to position your panels at the perfect orientation and tilt angle to capture the maximum amount of sunlight possible throughout the year.
For energy storage, the kit features Pytes V5A Plus lithium batteries, providing a starting capacity of 10.24kWh. These batteries are engineered for longevity and safety, featuring integrated heating elements that ensure they continue to charge and discharge correctly during freezing winter temperatures. If your energy requirements increase in the future, the system is fully scalable, allowing you to expand your storage up to 20.48kWh.
You can monitor your entire system in real time via the Victron Remote Management portal, giving you full visibility of your energy production and battery health from your smartphone or computer anywhere in the world.
