Product Details

This system is built around the Victron MultiPlus-II 3000VA, which acts as both a powerful inverter and a sophisticated battery charger. To ensure the best performance and longest life, this kit requires two lithium batteries, which offer faster charging and more usable power than traditional options. For the marine environment, we include a galvanic isolator to protect your boat's hull from electrical corrosion. The included Orion XS DC-DC charger is also specifically recommended for marine use because it features improvements to prevent electrical interference with your VHF radio.

We offer a few ways to tailor this kit to your specific boat and how much power you expect to use.

Choose your solar power

You can choose between two high-performance solar panels depending on your deck space and energy needs. The standard option is a Victron 305W panel, which is a fantastic all-rounder for most vessels. If you want to maximise your charging potential, you can step up to the JA Solar 450W bi-facial panel. This is a clever piece of kit that can actually catch light on both sides of the panel, helping you top up your batteries even faster when the sun is out.

High-capacity battery storage

To get the most out of this system, we provide a 400Ah lithium battery bundle that includes the necessary battery management system to keep everything running safely. This setup is designed to give you a huge amount of usable energy. Because lithium batteries charge much quicker and last longer than traditional ones, this bundle is the perfect partner for the 3kVa inverter, ensuring you have plenty of power for your appliances.

Smart environmental sensors

You also have the option to add RuuviTag Pro sensors to your kit. These are rugged, wireless gadgets that monitor the conditions on your boat, such as temperature and humidity. They link up with the rest of the system so you can keep an eye on your boat's environment right from your touch screen.

This kit comes with 16mm cable as standard for the DC/DC charger. If the cable run is larger than 3.5m you will need to step up the cable to 25mm.

Paired with the included Victron GX Touch Screen you'll have all the control at your fingertips.

The Victron Orion XS DC-DC Charger is a powerful and intelligent DC-DC or Battery to Battery Charger. It intelligently and safely chargers your leisure batteries from your vehicles starter battery whilst you are driving. It's simple to install and just requires access to the vehicles starter battery. It packs a huge 50A(700W) charging current and uses intelligent charging to protect both batteries.

Victron MPPT 100/30 – SmartSolar Charge Controller

The Victron MPPT 100/30 – SmartSolar Charge Controller safely converts the power from your solar panels into useable power for your batteries. It has built-in bluetooth and settings and performanced can be monitored through the VictronConnect app.
